The fifth edition of the Venice Boat Show kicked off today May 29th, 2024 and will run to June 2nd. Emerging as one of Europe's premier annual marine industry events, the festival, held at the historic Arsenale in Venice, Italy, features over 300 boats and 270 exhibitors. Last year the show drew over 30,000 visitors throughout its five days while showcasing yachts and super yachts along with sailing vessels, sustainable eco-friendly boats and a variety of side events. Discussions on advanced hybrid and hydrogen propulsion solutions will set the stage for this year's event.

Once known as the world’s largest shipyard, Venice's Arsenale, with its centuries-old history, serves as an exceptional backdrop for this prestigious event, showcasing luxury boats and cutting-edge maritime technologies. This year, the show will also emphasize environmental sustainability and innovation, reaffirming Venice's emerging role as a "world sustainability capital."

Organized by Vela SpA in collaboration with the City of Venice and the Italian Navy, the event will feature 30 new shipyards and 15 world premieres, underscoring Venice's importance in the global yachting industry.

Motor Yachts


Ferretti Custom Line - Navetta 38

Ferretti Group is showcasing an impressive fleet, including nine models and two world premieres, among them the Custom Line Navetta 38. Launched in January, this yacht blends innovative engineering with Italian style and sophistication. The design emphasizes seamless indoor-outdoor continuity, spacious areas for comfort, and direct contact with the water for a superior cruising experience.

Key features include a 70-square-meter beach area and extensive glazing around the sundeck to enhance natural light and the sense of space. The yacht's luxurious interior includes custom-made furniture and premium materials like linen, parchment, and soft-finish leather. Powered by twin MAN 1,400hp engines, the Navetta 38 achieves a top speed of 15 knots and a range of approximately 2,800 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Sanlorenzo - SD96

Sanlorenzo is showcasing the SD96, designed by Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola. This yacht rethinks nautical design with transformable spaces that adapt to users' needs, enhancing on-board comfort and experience. Inspired by the elegance of 1930s ocean liners, the SD96 offers excellent autonomy for extended sea journeys.

The SD96 features modular interiors and superior space and flexibility compared to similar-sized yachts. Powered by two MAN 8V 1300 HP engines, it can reach a maximum speed of 17 knots. Measuring 28.93 meters in length, the yacht accommodates eight guests and a crew of five, offering a luxurious environment for extended sea voyages.

The WiderCat 92, a 28-meter catamaran, integrates hybrid technology and solar energy, breaking down the boundaries between outdoor and indoor spaces. The catamaran features Dynamic Positioning, an electronic system that maintains its position without a traditional anchor, enabling it to operate in Zero Emission Mode to preserve marine ecosystems.

Powered by two 420 kW Permanent Magnet Motors and an eShaft with twin screw props, the WiderCat 92 has a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of approximately 1,000 nautical miles at cruising speed. Designed for eight guests and a crew of four, it represents sustainable luxury, blending advanced technology with an eco-friendly approach to yachting.

The wallywhy150 advances the innovative concepts of its range, offering experiences typically found on much larger vessels. It boasts an exceptionally large master cabin with a 270-degree view and a main saloon with floor-to-ceiling glass for abundant natural light. Equipped with three optional Volvo Penta IPS1350 engines, the yacht can reach a top speed of 23 knots.

The new Solaris 50' performance cruiser offers multiple new features, including innovative waterlines and a longitudinal access tender garage. Special attention is given to the interior, particularly the saloon and owner's cabin, through a collaboration with Poltrona FRAU, allowing for a high level of customization.

The Bavaria C46 redefines standards with generous space, exceptional sailing characteristics, and innovative solutions.
